So many of us has heard,seen and moved by this quote,but we never act on it.
You must be the change you want to see in the world.Many of us put blames on our leaders for not caring about citizens and its so obvious that most of us don't care about our neighbors who have less.We prefer to buy bags/material things worth million than to help a beggar.
Mr A is living comfortably.
Everyday he passes his neighbor's room and can hear them grumbling about how hungry they are.He never cares neither does he help.Mr A becomes a political leader.What do you think will happen.He never cared about 1 neighbor,how will he care about million's suffering.
We should learn to be what we preach.We should learn to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
Let every moment you live be what you teach
The best leader the world has ever known are reformers who are accountable and responsible for their change.
Lastly,"to be the change we want to see in the world" means to know what is happening around us and to take powerful steps towards constructing the life and world of our dreams.Seeing the change we want to happen will take much of our effort of wanting,choosing,and commingling your actions to stand for what is right.
